We are looking for an awesome Sales & Events Manager to join our Sales team at The Mitre Hotel which we have transformed into glamorous restaurants, cocktail bars, enchanting river terraces and orangery, a quirky library and elegantly styled bedrooms. The ideal candidate will be a warm, friendly professional who shares a passion for service excellence, has an eye for detail and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This role will lead the Sales team for The Mitre, whilst working in a close partnership with our General Manager and Group Director of Sales. Retain and develop our database of clients maximising profits. Have a good understanding of our competitor set, and where we sit within the market. Be the main point of contact for all corporate events, weddings, social events and exclusive bookings. Ensure high quality service, on time and to budget by managing weddings and events to enable us to fulfil our contracted promises to clients and guests consistently. Liase and build partnerships with our third party suppliers and ensure a strong working relationship with each of them. Act as a brand ambassador for The Mitre ensuring that a positive brand image is strengthened and maintained in all interactions with customers.
