Your professional journey reflects continuous development, backed by essential knowledge of the Disabled Facilities Grant process and experience in supervising staff. Your communication skills are well-developed across various mediums and levels, and you are proficient in using Microsoft and Electronic Social Care record-keeping software. You prioritize work effectively and are comfortable writing clear and accurate reports, fostering a positive representation of the council. What the Job Involves In this role, you will undertake occupational therapy assessments, supporting customers to achieve independence and live fulfilling lives. You will plan for support provision according to social care and housing legislation, ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are upheld. Your duties include supervising Level 2 Occupational Therapists within your locality, ensuring practice standards set by regulatory bodies are maintained. You will conduct assessments to facilitate minor and major housing adaptations, participate in a Specialist Response rota, and ensure compliance with council policies. You will play an active role in your team's effectiveness, sharing knowledge and contributing to service developments. Travel within the South Wiltshire area is required, with claims processed from Bourne Hill, Salisbury.
