Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Mentor to join our team on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful candidate will work closely with students requiring additional support, particularly those with special educational needs, to enhance their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:

Individualized Support: Provide tailored assistance to students with SEN, addressing their unique learning needs and challenges.

Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and record students' progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Promoting Inclusion: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.

Mentorship: Serve as a role model and mentor, guiding students in developing social skills, resilience, and independence.
Person Specification:
Essential:

Previous experience working with children with special educational needs in an educational setting.

Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective intervention strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to diverse situations.

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
