Job Outline:
We are seeking a proven Business Development Manager with extensive experience within the Electronic or Physical Security markets, the Automatic Door market space or Architect/Consultant Specification Sales to take on a target-based sales role.
The key focus of this role is to achieve by developing key strategic relationships with our existing and potential customers, achieve sales targets and grow our revenue and profitability, through successfully winning new business with new customers in the Construction Sector and direct with Corporate customers.
We seek applications from experienced sellers who have a demonstrably successful track record within the proscribed market spaces, winning and retaining contracts in this challenging environment, whilst delivering excellent customer service/support and developing existing customers and contacts.
The successful candidate will be expected to achieve and exceed in line with the business strategy and individual target whilst nurturing strong, professional and credible working relationships with others within the sales team, the wider business and customer base. Sales achievements will be rewarded with a very attractive basic salary, motivating bonus scheme, car and benefits.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a willingness to get stuck in and develop new customers as well as enhance the businesses share of wallet from existing or dormant customers and with excellent pipeline management capabilities.
Our markets are crowded and the ability to demonstrate the difference will be key to the candidates’ success, so a proven track record in these areas will be key.
Responsibilities
* Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
* Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
* Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives with the marketing department
* Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
* Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones
* Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
* Developing quotes and proposals for clients
* Manage and update CRM system on prospect activity and opportunities
* Attain & Maintain 4-5 x Target Pipeline
* Attain Individual Monthly order targets
* Provide monthly reports defining progress.
