A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHEF DE PARTIE AT THE MARINE HOTEL PAIGNTON What you'll be doing Reporting to the Head Chef, you can expect your working day to include the following duties. You will be responsible to ensure that all food items are prepared, presented and served to the standard required under the guidance of the Head Chef. Cooking food in a timely manner using different methods and techniques. Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality. Cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas according to established standards of hygiene. Ensuring appealing plate presentation. To receive goods ordered and check items supplied are to the standard and quality required. What We Need From You To succeed in the role of Chef de Partie you will need the following qualities and skills.
