Role Overview: Production Controller
As a Production Controller, you will play a key role in managing and streamlining production processes to ensure smooth operations and that production targets are consistently achieved. This position requires a highly organised, detail-oriented individual capable of monitoring production progress, resolving issues, and making adjustments to optimise workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
* Bill of Materials Management: Create, manage, and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
* Forecasting & Planning: Lead production forecasting and capacity planning to align with company targets.
* ERP/MRP Operations: Utilise ERP/MRP systems to optimise production planning and execution.
* Expediting: Facilitate efficient product flow through the factory to meet deadlines.
* Supplier Coordination: Manage supplier deliveries to align with production schedules and factory demand.
* Performance Reporting: Generate and review key performance metrics, ensuring operational improvements.
Candidate Requirements & Fit:
We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on individual with the following attributes:
* Proven experience as a Production Controller or in a similar manufacturing role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
* Proactive, self-starting approach with a drive to solve problems and achieve results.
* Proficiency in production planning tools, ERP/MRP systems, and MS Excel.
* A mindset geared towards learning, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
Pay & Benefits:
* Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year (commensurate with experience).
* Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, standard day shift (Monday–Friday).
