Our client is one of Europe’s fastest growing print businesses delivering uniquely memorable experiences for brands and consumers every day. Over multi-site operations, they have Digital, Litho, and Wide Format production with all associated data, pre-press, finishing, and logistics.
This is a key role within our client company. The CTO will set the strategic technology direction for the organisation and drive development teams responsible for software development and system implementation, as well as evaluate external developing technologies.
The CTO will work in close collaboration with fellow executive staff members, Production, Ecommerce, and Marketing to help drive the organization’s client-facing products towards continued growth and internal systems to greater efficiency.
The CTO will lead a team of 8+ staff, including Software Engineering, Data Security, IT infrastructure, IT / Server management, and Support.
Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:
1. Identify, develop or deliver technology that enables the wonderful.
2. Able to lead technical strategic planning to maximize business goals by development and deployment of all products and services.
3. Leads creation of the technology vision for the business going forward, balanced by a pragmatic determination to complete and finish projects to plan.
4. Defines development standards, organization, and methodologies for the company, and coordinates architecture and plans across multiple product lines.
5. Collaborates closely with the business and customers to understand overall market requirements and help translate strategic and product priorities into technology roadmap plans.
Desired Skills & Experience:
1. Solid understanding across all latest technologies impacting software development.
2. Experience with delivery of client-facing products using Cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
3. Experience with Agile development processes, particularly SCRUM methodology.
4. Understanding of reprographics and printing processes would be advantageous.
