Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hampton Office with Hybrid Working Options
Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum
Sector: Utilities/Civil Engineering/MEICA
Overview: We are looking to enhance our Commercial team with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor. This role, based in Hampton with hybrid working options, requires you to take charge of the Commercial Management of projects, reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.
Main Duties:
* Manage quantity surveying tasks for projects and work packages.
* Collaborate with design, construction, and supply chain teams to control costs.
* Oversee main contracts, ensuring contractual compliance.
* Prepare and manage subcontract documentation and procurement processes.
* Supervise subcontractor performance and manage payment applications.
* Develop and monitor project cost & value reports, budgets, and forecasts.
* Mentor and support junior commercial staff.
* Engage in continuous professional development.
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
* Progress toward or completion of chartered membership in a recognized institution.
* Experience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectors.
* Proficiency with NEC3 contracts.
* Experience managing or developing a team.
