Job Title: Contract Manager (Soft Services)
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Contract Manager to join the Northwest team.
Role Summary:
1. Responsible for the contract management of the staff, operation and maintenance of self-delivery soft services on site.
2. Daily management of the Soft Services teams including compliance with CBRE disciplinary processes and procedures.
3. Direct, instruct and manage all CBRE staff under their control as well as SSP’s ensuring compliance with working practices.
4. Complete the weekly operations report to the client and attend weekly operations meeting, client meetings as requested.
5. Ensure that all matters impacting the smooth running of the building and facilities are reported to both CBRE and the contracts Senior Management.
6. Conduct regular reviews of operating procedures and recommend improvements.
7. Liaise with the client and the CBRE Operations Director on all aspects of contract problems (defects & deficiencies).
8. Ensure all staff are conversant with the operation and control of critical and noncritical systems.
9. Maintain quality throughout the facilities.
10. Effectively communicate and implement business policies and processes within the contract.
11. Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with service excellence.
12. Collaborate with other Contract Managers on the Account for business development and team support.
13. Develop contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery and ensure these are met.
14. Implement control systems to meet statutory, policy and contractual commitments.
15. Maintain effective relationships with key client contacts.
16. Provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and support for best practice selection, training, and assessment.
17. Deliver effective business communication through various channels.
18. Provide a learning environment and appropriate training and development planning.
19. Attend on and off site training for plant and systems as required.
Experience Required:
1. Experience in Facilities Management industry.
2. Manufacturing environment exposure is advantageous.
3. Delivery of Soft Services FM.
4. Managing subcontractors on site.
5. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
6. Understanding of Health and Safety issues; NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent training desirable.
7. Conversant with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
8. Good level of English and Mathematics.
9. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
10. Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and clear-thinking.
