The Role We are looking for a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our Manufacturing site in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position working rotational days and nights every weekend. Friday to Sunday with 1 shift during the week. On Offer: £14.41 per hour (including shift pay) - £35,967 per annum 48 hours per week Friday to Sunday - weekly rotational days and nights (06:00 to 18:00 - and 18:00 to 06:00) 1 x 12 hour shift between Monday and Thursday Paid last Friday of each month. Please note there is not public transport routes to our factory, therefore you will need your own transport and live within 30 miles of our Factory The Role To ensure processes are followed within the warehouse to ensure products are receipted in, stored and despatched to the agreed standards and loading plans whilst keeping our colleagues safe. Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver: Supply the production departments with raw and packaging materials in order to maintain a continuous production programme Locate all finished goods from production areas into the Warehouse for storage until despatch Unload as and when required all incoming vehicles and rack away the materials following acceptance and GRN generation Pick and assemble loads ready for dispatch. Load outgoing vehicles with finished goods as detailed on the loading despatch paperwork Work in a safe manner at all times ensuring the safety of myself and colleagues. Follow health and safety policies and procedures at all times and raise any health and safety concerns through the appropriate channels Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose through completing starter documentation and reporting damage to FLTs and plant damage by following the appropriate procedure Undertake training and assist with the training of other colleagues when required. Act as a buddy for new colleagues and provide guidance where necessary. Skills, Experience and Qualifications of the Production Operator: Experience in a same / similar role within Manufacturing Counter balance / reach truck license or Reach - desirable however, full training provided.
