Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer with a background in building construction and rail infrastructure to join the company's dynamic team in Brisbane. Key Responsibilities
1. Manage and monitor project completion to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental, and contractual obligations are achieved safely.
2. Review design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements, and job safety analysis.
3. Assign tasks effectively to project team members, ensuring outputs meet agreed specifications.
4. Monitor KPIs and productivity against programme and budget, taking corrective action when necessary.
5. Mentor and support Project, Site, and Graduate Engineers to foster their development.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in building construction, preferably in infrastructure projects.
3. Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
4. Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
5. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
6. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
7. Experience coordinating with local authorities and stakeholders for project approvals and permits.
