Job Description
Your Future Team: The role involves leading and managing all security-related aspects, including planning, oversight, supervision, and assessment. It requires integration with internal and external stakeholders and the development of security documentation to support the program.
Your Mission:
1. Draft and Update Security Aspects Letters (SALs) and Grading Guides
2. Maintain JPT Security Management Plan and Registers
3. Review and Submit Security Business Case Requests for Contractors
4. Liaise with Contractor Security Managers Regularly, Conduct Advisory Audits
5. Inform JPT of Design Limitations
6. Ensure Compliance with GDPR
7. Liaise with Security Stakeholders, Delivery/Project Team Security Lead, and Suppliers
8. Identify Security Risks and Implement Mitigation
9. Advise on Security in Acquisition Strategy
10. Prepare Security Inputs for Approvals Submissions
11. Coordinate Effective Security Measures Throughout the Project/Programme
12. Manage Information Release to Third Parties and Overseas Suppliers/Consultants
13. Oversee Information Release to the Public Domain
These activities ensure comprehensive security management, compliance, and risk mitigation throughout the project.
My Profile
Skills to Succeed:
* Experience as a PSyO within an MOD environment.
* Experience in Cyber Accreditation / Cyber Security Controls within an MOD environment.
* Experience in Secure by Design principles within an MOD environment.
Qualifications & Training:
* SC Clearance or ability to obtain.
* Demonstrable suitable qualifications and experience relating to Security Management.
* Accredited degree in an appropriate related discipline (or equivalent qualification and experience).
* Chartered member of an appropriate professional body.
Limited travel to the Client site near Helensburgh may be required; however, the role would typically be expected to be conducted in a hybrid arrangement from Glasgow City Centre (3 days office, 2 days WfH).
