As the Regional Response & Voids Manager for Wiltshire, you will find yourself taking the lead on contract management, in respect of works relating to our response & voids work, damp, mould and condensation, minor works, whilst having overall responsibility for the DLO and sub-contractors.
You’ll have three team leaders as direct reports, who look after the trade team colleagues ensuring that have all the support they need and a team of up to three Surveyors, who support with the surveying needs of the team.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring the team meet the required standards of performance, including audit, time management, cost, quality and customer satisfaction.
Quality of service will be extremely important to you. You’ll understand that a solid and robust approach to contract management will be required to ensure the right outcomes.
You’ll take overall responsibility for the complaints that come into the team and you’ll work hard to ensure the right resolutions are received.
The challenges that the role encounters will require the application of thorough analysis and industry knowledge. You’ll demonstrate your technical and commercial expertise, knowledge of contract law, health & safety legislation, housing law and compliance.
About you
This will ideally be a field that you’re currently working within or have demonstratable experience of working and overseeing delivery of housing related contracts.
You’ll have experience in overseeing the management of externally delivered service contracts. Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with the contractual terms and within budget, with budgets in excess of £5m.
You must hold relevant technical qualifications and\or have had suitable training and\or equivalent experience.
You’ll be working with internal and external stakeholders, so you’ll be confident building relationships, understanding and anticipating customer needs.
The team work out of our Devizes office and whilst this is a hybrid role, you’ll likely choose to base yourself between the office and home to ensure the team get the support they require.
Travel will form part of the role, so you’ll have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
In role you will be known as Contracts Manager – Response & Voids (Wiltshire).
