Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Manual Test Analyst based in Birmingham, UK.

The Test Analyst role sits within our QA testing team, as well as alongside a wider software engineering and product team, responsible for ensuring quality and reliability of solutions created. The role will primarily be focused on Ricoh’s workplace enhancement platform RICOH Spaces, but this can expand across more products and services.
The role has the responsibility for becoming a subject matter expert in the RICOH Spaces platform to proficiently deliver all testing activities including, preparing testing plans, scripts, scenarios and cases and executing all agreed testing activities.
The role will be responsible for testing across multiple platforms, devices and on various operating systems, including but not limited to Web Applications, Mobile Apps and Smart Displays. Demonstrating a good understanding of technical environments and the different platforms is therefore key to successfully performing the test analyst role.
What you will be doing
* Responsible for effectively and successfully delivering testing activities covering but not limited to functional, exploratory and performance testing.
* Takes accountability for QA to ensure product releases meet requirements.
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills, at both a technical and non-technical level.
* Demonstrates a passion for attention to detail across all testing activities.
* Successful preparation and maintenance of test plans, scripts, scenarios, and cases which test components against agreed business conditions.
* Provides and delivers against agreed estimates to support the scheduling of work activities.
* Provides constructive feedback to the wider product delivery team on both positive and negative test result, ensuring failures are managed through to resolution for successful implementation.
* Engages with and builds collaborative relationships with the wider product team to support knowledge transfer as well as demonstrating a strong team spirit within an agile team culture.
* Demonstrates a proactive approach to own training and knowledge transfer.
* Demonstrates an appropriate level of subject matter knowledge across both the product platforms and testing activities to be effective within the role.
* Contributes to agile practices and processes, providing constructive feedback to support process improvements.
* Collaborating and contributing to standards, methodologies and processes which support the delivery of testing activities.
* Contributes to the selection, implementation and maintenance of tools which support testing delivery.
You will ideally have
* Proficient knowledge and application of processes and techniques used to deliver structured testing methods and processes.
* Proven experience testing across multiple platforms.
* Experienced in a variety of testing tools which support both testing execution and test management.
* Experienced within the full systems development lifecycle ideally within an agile delivery environment.
* ISTQB Foundation (Preferred)– or similar qualification / experience.
* Experienced working within a collaborative Agile team.
* Demonstrates a strong team spirit.
* Experienced using tools which support agile delivery such as Airfocus and TestRail.
* Organised and methodical, demonstrating a strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks and activities.
* Excellent time management with the ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
* Ability to identify and recognise problems quickly and efficiently.
* Works effectively in both an independent role and within a team environment.
* Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
* Adaptable and flexible to a changing team environment.
* Both an inquisitive and methodical mindset is key to success within the role.
* Creative and disciplined, thinks beyond what is stated or expected and applies structured problem techniques in the resolution of complex problems.
