Sales Manager

Salary: Up to £45,000 + comms (Dependent on Experience)
Are you a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for building relationships and driving business growth? Our Banbury-based manufacturing client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sales Manager to join their team and contribute to their success.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
1. Identify and develop new clients to expand their customer base and drive revenue.
2. Build strong rapport with clients and maintain ongoing communication to nurture long-term relationships.
3. Develop new and creative approaches to keep client communications fresh and engaging.
4. Seek out and act upon potential sales opportunities with a strategic mindset.
5. Visit clients to establish and maintain strong working relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
6. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the sales function processes.
7. Develop a thorough understanding of our products to provide informed and tailored solutions to clients.
8. Ensure compliance with the company's Health & Safety policies at all times.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
* Has a proven track record in sales, with a proactive approach to finding and maximising opportunities.
* Ideally, you will have worked within manufacturing sales previously. Also, candidates with automotive, medical, or utility experience are highly desirable.
* Candidates with basic engineering / CAD knowledge would be highly desirable.
* The ideal candidate will be happy to travel as needed for client meetings (mainly throughout the Midlands / North).
* Excels in building and maintaining client relationships.
* Is creative and adaptable in communication strategies to suit diverse clients.
* Possesses a solid understanding of sales processes and products.
* Is committed to maintaining high standards of Health & Safety compliance.

Due to travel within the role, our client will provide either a company vehicle or car allowance (to be discussed).
The role is a permanent / full-time position. Approx. 50/50 both office-based and on the road travel to visit clients. Some weeks you will be out and about more, some are more likely to be office-based work. Our client will also offer WFH flexibility when appropriate.
