Responsibilities:
1. First point of call for any IT-related issue.
2. Resolve infrastructure and system incidents.
3. Carry out routine proactive tasks to ensure the availability of systems.
4. Promote a positive team environment and be totally committed to providing support.
5. Undertake general troubleshooting and investigative work with all types of Hardware and Software.
6. Setup new users and configure their workstations or laptops.
7. Improve IT Systems, processes, policies in support, better reporting, information flow, and management.
8. Inspect all temperature monitors, printers/copiers, and other IT resources.
9. Manage and implement a log of all in-progress and outstanding IT-related issues.
10. Be available for ad-hoc “out of hours” technical support.
Basic Qualifications:
11. Good communicator both written and verbal.
12. Good general education and numeracy skills – graduate caliber.
13. Ability to proactively prevent problems and able to produce timely and high-quality results.
14. Utilize Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
15. Highly dynamic and energetic with flexible working in a team approach.
16. Good verbal and written communication skills.
17. Able to travel to different business units in the UK
