We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Data Centre Shift Engineer to join our Data Centre Solutions team. If you’ve worked in a Critical Environment before — great. If you’re an experienced engineer looking to step into this world — even better.

What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Maintaining and operating key site electrical systems to the highest industry standards.
2. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive works across a range of critical assets.
3. Supporting fault diagnosis and providing technical solutions for systems including:
1. Power (UPS, Generators, HV & LV Systems)
2. Cooling Systems (AHUs, FCUs, VRVs)
3. Lighting Systems & Controls
4. Building Management Systems (BMS)
5. Fire Detection & Suppression Systems
4. Assisting in small project works, installations, and upgrades.
5. Maintaining excellent communication with your Shift Supervisor and wider engineering team.
6. Keeping plant areas, workshops, and equipment spaces in first-class condition.
7. Ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality.
What You’ll Bring:
1. Previous experience working within a Building Services or Critical Environment (Data Centre experience is a bonus!).
2. Electrical qualifications (C&G or equivalent) and 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
3. HV Approved Person (or willing to train towards it).
4. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
5. Good working knowledge of UPS systems, Generators, HVAC, and BMS controls.
6. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
7. A can-do attitude and desire to learn and grow in a challenging environment.
8. Flexibility to attend relevant training courses (on-site & off-site where required).
