We are looking for an Early Careers Advisor to join our Learning and Development team, to help lead on our apprentice, placement, and graduate recruitment activity enabling us to attract and secure the best early careers talent. We have had great success over the years in recruiting at an early careers stage and you will be involved in circa 130 apprentice, placement and graduate roles across our business each year. Your role will involve you working with our Communications team to create content and branding to enable candidate attraction, improve brand awareness and ensure our Early Careers web pages are engaging and support our approach. Building and maintaining relationships with contacts at universities, colleges and schools will be key to this role. You will have an interest in broader aspects of learning and development and will be keen to take up the opportunity to get involved in wider learning and development projects. This role will be based in our Skipton office and we are looking for someone to be onsite 2 to 3 days per week. Work closely with hiring managers to devise our early careers recruitment plan. Co-ordinate all regular communication and updates to key internal stakeholders. Maintain effective relationships with key contacts at educational establishments. Coordinate attendance at careers fairs and attend where appropriate. Organise and facilitate our assessment centres. Create job adverts that attract the best talent. Advertise roles across all relevant job boards for Early Careers. Support our HR team with offer paperwork and onboarding. Maintain accurate and up to date records within our ATS and recruitment trackers. Support the administration of our work experience and placement student programmes. Supporting Lead L&D Advisor with strategic projects. What we’re looking for Experience in early careers recruitment and/or an interest in early careers pathways. Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal). Ability to present to groups with confidence. Previous administrative experience where attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise tasks and responsibilities were required.
