Part-Time Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I’m a man in my early 50’s living in Barry. I have two French bulldogs. They are very boisterous but loving pets.
15 years ago I was hit by a car whilst on holiday resulting in a life changing brain injury. Before this I was a commercial diver working abroad.
I tend to be forgetful and can come across as blunt but this isn’t intentional.
My interest range from gym to drawing.
HOURS OF WORK
4 hours per week
Flexibility is essential to accommodate different times and days each week.
RATES OF PAY
£13.00 per hour
TASKS WILL INCLUDE
• Support with tidying and general household duties
• Taking me to/from and joining in a gym or swim session, no charge to you
• Taking my 2 dogs for a walk, with or without me depending on the day
• The occasional shopping trip or out for a coffee
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
• You must have a confident and clear approach in communication
• Someone who will actively participate in activities, be it at the gym or swimming
• You must like dogs
• A person who is easy to talk to is essential
• An understanding of brain injuries will be helpful but not essential
• You must be flexible with your time allowing for shift patterns varying from one week to the next
• A car owner/driver who is willing to use car for work purposes
ABOUT THE JOB
Although this is a part-time job, it will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The salary will be paid on a 4 weekly basis and appropriate holiday pay given (5.6 weeks pro rata).
The post is subject to a probationary period and a DBS (Police) Check at no cost to you. You will have to supply 2 references, one of which should be able to comment on your work practices
