Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager / Workshop Manager required to join a global, leading engineering manufacturer based in Sunderland. The successful Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager / Workshop Managerwill lead and supervise a team of Test Engineers ensuring their performance aligns with company standards and customer expectations. Based in Sunderland, you will oversee and manage the service operations, Supervise Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and support the installation, commissioning for high-pressure hydrogen systems. Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager / Workshop Managerwill ideally have experience managing an engineering team, either in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with specific expertise in hazardous areas. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential. Test Engineers with hydrogen, compressed air expertise looking for a step up into management are also encouraged to apply. Oversee and motivate a multidisciplinary engineering team. Drive continuous improvements in engineering testing procedures. Adhere to safety standards and risk assessments. Provide updates and performance data to the Engineering Director. Liaise with various engineering departments. Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager / Workshop Manager Requirements Experience as aEngineering Manager, Maintenance Manager, Workshop Manager, On site Manager, Test Supervisor, Service Operations Manager, Service Manager or similar in a supervisory role in manufacturing or engineering projects. Strong experience and exposure in hazardous areas. Test Engineers with hydrogen, compressed air expertise are encouraged to apply. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities within engineering. Expertise in high-pressure gas systems and Lean principles or managing service teams within an engineering / manufacturing setting.
