RM Recruit are excited to be working with a highly regarded Coventry based organisation who are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our client is offering a hybrid working arrangement with the office presence set at four days per week and one day working from home along with a competitive salary.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the full day-to-day finance function.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
2. Perform month-end duties such as journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
3. Assist with daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
4. Managing credit control and aged debtors.
5. Completing bank reconciliations.
6. Process invoices, payments, and reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate records.
7. Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
8. Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
9. Help monitor cash flow and manage expense claims and reimbursements.
10. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
11. Provide administrative support to the finance team and assist with audits.
12. Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
The ideal candidate will be part-qualified ACCA/CIMA with experience in a fast-paced finance environment. You will have strong attention to detail, a personable approach, and the ability to build relationships easily. A strong work ethic, the ability to work independently, and effective teamwork are essential. You will be a confident communicator, capable of prioritising workload efficiently and effectively.
