What is the job?
As IT Admin Support for Seras you will be dividing your time between processing purchase orders for IT, liaising with internal staff and 3rd party contractors on a variety of activities from simple support questions to quoted works and planned maintenance. You’ll be purchasing, and in some cases setting up IT equipment and peripherals for colleagues. Scheduling site visits so our IT support team can communicate face-to-face with employees at multiple locations across the country. You’ll also be managing stock levels and supporting the IT function with complete asset management as well as producing regular user audit reports.
We are looking for a good communicator with disciplined organisation skills that can work on multiple tasks simultaneously. Someone that can provide a professional and friendly approach to our user base and have the ability to create strong working relationships both internally and externally.
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week - hours to be worked across 5 days, office based only.
Key Responsibilities
* Documentation: Create and update technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
* User Support: Provide efficient and effective technical support to end-users, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
* Management and support of IT equipment and phones for all staff
* Raise any PO’s for the function
* The ordering and inventory control including, but not limited to IT and phone equipment
* Installation of IT workstations via software distribution (PC systems, laptops, operating systems and company specific software)
* Accurately input data into various computer systems
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
* Speaking to customers and suppliers to answer queries and resolve issues
* Organizing and scheduling meetings and events
* Good organisational skills & time management
Desirable
* Online portal updates
* Placing orders
* Raising purchase orders
* Hands on experience of installing IT hardware and software
