Recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with a Non-Verbal student that has Learning Difficulties in a Hornchurch School. For the role somebody with patience, resilience and persistence to help the student stay on task through the school day and understand instructions. The student is in the KS1 area of the school working at a low level can be unpredictable and challenging at times. After the Easter break - Monday to Friday (Term time only) SEN Teaching Assistant Role Experience and knowledge of working with Non-Verbal students and Challenging Behaviour. Skills and strategies to support the students triggers and traits. An interest, motivation and passion for working with students that have Learning Disabilities. Calm, controlled and effective communication and relate well to all children and adults within the school. Experience or knowledge working with PECS. Ability to work 1-1 with student to help stay on task. Happy to assist with personal care.
