Concept are currently looking to recruit an additional 2 experienced Migration Engineers within a commutable distance to Milton Keynes to complete a 6-8 week contract.
Start - 6th January 2025
Duration - mid - end of February 2025
The Role:
Will involve the following tasks:
* Provide remote technical support to end-users during the migration process.
* Assist in the configuration and testing of IT equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
* Document and maintain detailed records of migration activities and support tickets.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on migration progress and address any concerns.
* Sign off.
The Candidate:
Must have a minimum of 1-3 years' employment experience within an IT migration/helpdesk/field-based engineering role and be able to:
* Support client systems, services, and migrations.
* Be confident with IT software and be able to carry out the migration process.
* Provide the client with high levels of customer service and have a proven background in doing so.
Rate Information / Benefits:
* Monday - Thursday evening work.
* Standby rota implemented, which could mean up to 1 day on standby per week.
* 9.30pm - 5.30am.
* £162.50 per day via Umbrella Company (Inside IR35).
* Flexible remote work environment - working from home during evening installs, based local to MK for ease of access to training.
* Laptop and phone provided.
