Panel Wirer Aberdare £25,000 p/a We are recruiting for an experienced panel wirer to join our client, a leading provider in electrical engineering solutions in Aberdare. This role involves the assembly and wiring of control panels to precise specifications ensuring safety, functionality and compliance with industry standards. Panel Wirer Benefits: Salary £25,000 p/a. Aberdare based fully on site. Monday to Friday 37 hours per week half day on a Friday. Potential for overtime. Contributory pension scheme. 20 days annual leave plus 8 days statutory bank holidays. Free car parking, Investment in employees through learning and development.Panel Wirer Responsibilities: Assemble and wire control panels according to engineering drawings and schematics. Perform continuity checks, insulation tests, and other required tests to ensure quality and functionality. Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure efficiency and safety. Troubleshoot and rectify wiring issues as they arise. Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret complex designs and implement modifications when necessary. Adhere to all quality control standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.Skills and Qualifications Required: Minimum of 2 years' experience in panel wiring or a similar role within the electrical manufacturing sector. Proficient in reading and understanding electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Knowledge of electrical testing procedures and standards (e.g., BS7671). High level of precision and focus to ensure all wiring is executed correctly. Ability to diagnose and solve wiring problems efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.Candidates will be required to undertake a practical wiring test during the interview to demonstrate their skills.
