What you will do:
1. Facilitate service user choice and empowerment through promoting independence, allowing residents to maintain their community connections for as long as safely possible.
2. Assist with managing budgets, ensuring effective and timely processes, including authorising assessments and arranging necessary funding to support individual plans.
3. Undertake statutory interventions where service users are at risk, including managing situations of neglect or abuse, and chairing Section 42 Safeguarding Adults Enquiries as required.
4. Provide operational and motivational leadership to staff, fostering a positive working atmosphere aimed at delivering high-quality services.
5. Offer regular, professional supervision for practitioners, aligning with Council Policies, legislation, and professional standards.
6. Oversee the duty team, managing all incoming referrals and safeguarding concerns efficiently.
