ONE TO ONE TEACHING ASSISTANT

Hours: 8.30am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
Role Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one mentoring and support to pupils.
* Monitor and report on pupils’ progress, liaising with school staff to ensure their needs are met.
* Assist with lesson planning and classroom preparation.
* Use behaviour management techniques to support engagement and learning.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, fostering confidence and a love for learning.
Requirements
* Minimum GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics.
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
* Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an educational setting.
* Knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
* Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
