Requirements
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse sales data, market trends, and historical patterns to forecast demand and determine appropriate stock levels
* Place purchase orders with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations
* Monitor and review supplier order confirmations, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines
* Review and process invoices, shipping documents, and other procurement-related administrative tasks
* Track and manage supplier performance, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to agreed terms
* Work closely with internal teams such as sales, warehouse, and finance to align inventory planning with business needs
* Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks that could impact stock availability
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimise pricing, lead times, and service quality
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in procurement and inventory management
Required Qualifications
* Previous experience in demand planning, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and our internal ERP system
* Strong communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with suppliers
* Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work under deadlines
* Knowledge of supply chain principles and procurement best practices
