As a SEA Principal Systems Engineer you will take responsibility for the technical leadership during the design, development, and support of our products. You will be required to take the lead, progressing the design, development, design proving, test, commissioning, and the in-service support of the equipment as part of a multi-disciplined team. This work may involve sensitive information so the applicant must be able to obtain security clearance.

What you’ll be doing
1. Technical leadership of defined work packages
2. Leading and mentoring project team members
3. Managing Requirements throughout the Engineering Lifecycle
4. Proving Technical inputs to bidding activities
5. Integration and production qualification activities
6. Taking Prototypes and developing them into Products
The skills you need
1. Degree, HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
2. Familiar with systems engineering best practice
3. Extensive experience with electrical design and product development
4. Experience with combat systems is desirable
5. Competence with requirements management tools such as DOORs
6. Excellent communication skills
