Job Description
Job Title: Sales Administrator
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 (1 hour unpaid lunch)
Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus UK statutory bank holidays, pension.
We are seeking a Sales Administrator to join our dynamic and supportive team based in Partridge Green, Horsham. This role is essential to the company’s growth, focusing on assessing customer requirements and preparing accurate quotations. If you are organised, customer-focused, and eager to develop your skills, this opportunity could be perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quotation Preparation: Evaluate specifications and drawings to prepare accurate quotations and ensure all necessary details are included.
2. Customer Liaison: Communicate with customers to clarify requirements and ensure all information needed for manufacturing is obtained.
3. Timely Delivery: Ensure all quotations are returned to customers on time and maintain an up-to-date quote log.
4. Order Management: Process sales orders with purchase order numbers, handle amendments, and liaise with Production Control to ensure seamless communication.
5. Sales Support: Handle general sales calls, contribute to daily sales targets, and support the Sales Office Manager and Commercial Director in daily tasks.
6. Knowledge Building: Learn and gain a full understanding of the company’s products, applications, and systems, including Sage 200 and Hubspot.
7. Collaboration: Develop effective working relationships with key departments, such as External Sales, Production, and Transport, to ensure smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong command of English, both written and spoken
2. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
4. Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
5. Ability to learn and understand technical product knowledge
6. Prior experience in a customer service-based office environment is desirable
