ABOUT THE ROLE
The company are looking for a Project Manager to work on civil engineering infrastructure projects in the North West. The successful candidate will be expected to operate and promote a high standard of health and safety by ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place for all aspects of the works. You’ll have to check engineering drawings/specifications, identifying and resolving design conflicts.
You will be working on Power and Energy projects where the work will include battery storage facilities and substations. There will also be Civils Projects where works will include Water treatment Civils upgrades, minor roads, junctions and enabling works for developments.
You’ll be in charge of undertaking management of Sub Agents, Section Engineers and Site Engineers whilst you work closely and report directly to the project manager.
Other projects that you’ll be involved in will range from infrastructure, bridge infrastructure, concrete structures, land drainage, internal drainage, flood banks, deep drainage and major earthwork projects.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally the successful candidate would need at least 3 years experience of site management in a civil engineering environment working on similar projects. You will be degree qualified as an engineer and will have worked your way up to a Site Agent level and will be ready to step straight into that role.
You will have excellent stability on your cv and will have significant UK experience.
