We are seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to join the team. Reporting to the Field Sales Controller, you will be a key part of the ROI Field Based sales team calling into the established Grocery sector, as well as Wholesale and Cash Carrys capturing orders and driving awareness of the Global and Local brand portfolio. Your persuasive and relationship building skills will be key to ensuring all in store opportunities have been put in place, ensuring all stores in your territory fulfil their potential and deliver the Territory budget.
The defined area of work is the Midlands, Co, Roscommon, Sligo and Donegal. Ideally you will reside in Athlone, Roscommon area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Build relationships with current customers by following set journey plan.
* Drive sales by either Stock Order, Central Billing or Retail Shop Link Transfer orders into Central Warehouses across all calls in your territory.
* Using your brand awareness and market knowledge, sell our Brands to store managers.
* Advise customers on specific Group promotions and increase their awareness of the whole product range to enhance sales.
* Work with Field Sales Team Controller and NAMs to ensure you are aligned in call objectives.
* Conduct in-store merchandising activities ensuring the agreed shelf space, displays and all POS are in place to maximize sales.
* Keep up to date with stock report to ensure the availability of stock, and when necessary, notify the customer of shortages, out of stocks and approximate back-order dates.
* Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure that all orders are accurately processed and delivered on time and in full to our customers.
* Ensure accurate reporting during and after each call on the tablet provided and share invaluable competitor information with the business and your achievements in call.
* Monitor your performance to ensure you are on track to continually hit and exceed KPIs and sales targets.
* Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
