About the Role
Based at Head Office in Liverpool with site visits as appropriate.
Carry out QS duties on fit-out and refurbishment schemes for key clients in the Retail, Commercial, Hospitality, and Leisure sectors.
You will join a small, close-knit team of dedicated professionals, working together to deliver projects on time and within budget, reporting to the Construction Director of the division.
You will also mentor a more junior member of the commercial team, helping them progress in their careers.
SQS Role includes:
1. Control of cost and value
2. Subcontractor procurement, payment, and management
3. Valuations
4. Variations and Final Account
5. Monthly management reporting
6. Protection of the company's commercial interests
7. Working closely with the project team to enable project delivery/success
8. Estimating using Conquest
What you Need to Succeed
1. Educated to a Degree level in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management
2. Experience in working on 2+ schemes concurrently
3. Leisure or Retail sector build, refurb, or fit-out experience
4. Strong negotiating skills and ability to work as part of an ambitious and successful team
