My client is a leading multidisciplinary Consultancy who are going through huge growth in Ireland and The UK. They are seeking a Planner to join their EMEA Project Management Team.
In this crucial role, you'll work closely with project leaders to deliver outstanding project planning services, helping to ensure successful outcomes for their clients.
Duties:
* Provide planning and programming services to internal and external clients, from feasibility stages through to post-completion and occupation, effectively managing all time-related issues.
* Offer consultancy advice on programming and monitoring challenges.
* Develop high-level strategic programmes to assess the implications of key sequences, responsibilities, and strategies.
* Monitor and report on programmes at all stages of pre-construction and construction.
* Conduct critical path analysis.
* Coordinate with project teams, including clients, project managers, cost consultants, designers, and contractors to manage project programme issues.
* Provide consultancy on delay mitigation and perform comprehensive delay and forensic analysis.
* Develop site logistics and phasing management plans.
* Create resource programmes to showcase key inputs and outputs.
* Support business development and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in a Construction Management or engineering-related field.
* Significant post-qualification experience (7+ years) in project planning and schedule management within the construction industry, with proven skills in diverse project teams.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly.
* Ability to build rapport with team members, clients, and customers.
* Relevant experience in high profile commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors is an advantage.
* Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 is essential.
* Background in project controls and/or programme management environments.
* Strong analytical and logical problem-solving abilities.
* Confidence to work independently and a strong belief in your own abilities
