Working alongside fellow payroll professionals your job is to manage an agreed number of weekly and monthly paid employees ensuring they are paid accurately and on time. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels are a must. Ideally you will hold the CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate or an equivalent qualification. You will also have previous experience of working in a payroll department. Whilst not essential it would be ideal if you have knowledge of NHS payroll procedures and practices and a working knowledge of ESR.
