Recovery Driver
Location: Rainham
Hours: 6.30am to 4pm - overtime opportunities available.
Salary:
1. £39,060.00 for CE Drivers with a minimum 2 years' experience.
2. £37,060.00 for C Drivers, with progression to £39,060 on achievement of Class 1 status with training given.

Igloo is recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading vehicle movement companies who are looking to expand their team with drivers looking to start a new and exciting journey.
The Role:
This role would suit an experienced recovery driver who can assist in the efficient and safe recovery of vehicles. As a recovery driver, you will play a key role in providing a reliable, efficient, and courteous service. Your key tasks will be:
1. To recover a range of vehicles from across London, using recovery vehicles and equipment, efficiently and safely.
2. Adhere strictly to safety standards and regulations.
3. Provide a professional service with clients and customers, exhibiting a courteous and helpful demeanor during recovery operations.
4. Complete thorough inspections of recovered vehicles, documenting any and all damages or issues accurately.
5. Work together with fellow recovery drivers and support staff.
6. Complete all administrative duties including the use of electronic devices and processes accurately, thoroughly, and on time.
What we need from you as a Recovery Driver:
1. A minimum of 2 years' experience, working either as a recovery or tow truck driver.
2. Full Motorcycle license as some moves will involve motorcycles.
3. You must have a current Driver CPC.
4. Hold a digital tachograph card.
5. Have a working knowledge of tachograph legislation.
6. Minimum Driving Licence requirement: Category C, ideally CE (For those with category C, training will be provided to achieve Category CE).
7. Knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques and equipment.
8. Driving Licence - No previous disqualifications from driving (DR, CD, DD, IN OR TT99 endorsements will not be accepted).
9. Uphold a high standard of safety and professionalism in all recovery operations.
10. Team player with a positive, proactive, and flexible outlook.
11. Excellent communication skills.
12. Ability to work well under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
13. Capability to work unsupervised and maintain high standards.
14. All successful candidates will be required to pass NPPV2 vetting process.

1. Trained to IVR level (Institute of Vehicle Recovery).
