ACS International Schools are recruiting a Digital Teaching and Learning Specialist to join the Upper School team at ACS Hillingdon International School.
The Digital Teaching and Learning Specialist will play a vital role in driving our school's mission of providing an exceptional international education that prepares our students for a rapidly changing and interconnected world.
The overall purpose of this position is to ensure that technology is effectively integrated into our teaching and learning practices and that all members of our community are equipped with the necessary skills to excel in the digital age. The Digital Teaching and Learning Specialist will work with teachers, students, parents and colleagues to develop and implement effective digital teaching and learning strategies that support student achievement and inspire our community to imagine better.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Drive school-wide technology innovation and implementation to inspire the world’s next global thinkers and doers.
* Facilitate authentic student learning opportunities aligned with the ACS vision and values and the ISTE standards.
* Develop and lead 1:1, departmental, year group, divisional, campus-wide, and/or cross-campus technology training for teachers and support staff.
* Collaborates with teachers in composing effective technology-infused, challenging content-based lessons, and supports the teachers as they implement the lessons in their classrooms.
* Provide support in the use of divisional management information systems, VLEs and applications as used by faculty, students and parents.
* Collaborates in the evaluation, selection and implementation of instructional technology materials and software.
* Collaborate with appropriate instructional and technical staff to support, manage, and optimise the use of software and other digital resources to support quality teaching and learning and carry out school and technology initiatives.
* Gathers and disseminates information (e.g. policies, digital citizenship initiatives, professional development opportunities, parent communications) relevant to instructional technology.
* Manage school technology orientation and liaise with parents, new students and new staff.
* Participates in ongoing professional development related to job responsibilities and maintaining expertise in the field.
* Participates in workshops and meetings required by the Principal for Digital Teaching and Learning Development.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the divisional principals and the Principal for Digital Teaching and Learning Development.

* Experience training teachers and students in the use of digital technology.
* Up-to-date knowledge of digital teaching and learning developments within the required age range of 10-18.
* Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation.
* Knowledge of Apple applications, Google applications, PowerSchool, SeeSaw, Managebac, Schoology preferred, but not essential.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Duration: Initially until June 2027, with the potential to be extended thereafter.
