SS&C GIDS provides information processing and computer software services and products. The Company’s operating segments include financial markets, customer management, professional services, and output solutions. SS&C GIDS serves the alternative investments, asset and wealth management, banking and lending, insurance, and real estate industries.
The Transition Management team is responsible for overseeing unit registry transition projects, ensuring seamless, high-quality delivery within budget and timelines. We manage the full project lifecycle, working closely with registry teams, fund managers, custodians, and third-party vendors. Our team ensures all tasks are completed efficiently, stakeholders are well-informed, and operational process design is optimized in collaboration with Business Analysts and Registry Specialists. With strong leadership and communication, we drive successful transitions that support business objectives and client needs.
What You Will Get To Do :
1. Define project objectives and scope effectively.
2. Establish project standards and methodologies.
3. Oversee projects from initiation to completion.
4. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to align expectations.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant project processes.
6. Manage job allocations and budgets efficiently.
7. Lead and coordinate project teams to achieve goals.
8. Monitor project scope, conduct regular reviews, and report progress to stakeholders and senior management.
9. Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
10. Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
11. Negotiate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors.
What You Will Bring :
1. 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, including 2+ years in Unit Registry, Custodial Services, or Superannuation.
2. Experience managing or supporting transition projects (client onboardings, exits, fund launches, etc.).
3. Strong interpersonal and client engagement skills, with the ability to lead specialist teams.
4. Transfer Agency experience in the Australian market.
