We are excited to announce the growth of our clients busy ecommerce team. Over the last few years online business has rocketed and our client is continually launching luxury furniture and home accessories in their stores and across their digital channels. This role plays a big part in streamlining this important area of ecommerce working directly with the Marketing and Ecommerce Director.
Role Overview
The role is varied and very hands on. With a focus based on all the work involved in getting new product to web such as; working in the ERP for product structure and writing beautiful and compelling product copy, optimising the product sorting and menu structures, and ensuring smooth and accurate pricing or promotional discounting. The role also involves continual improvements to UX and working towards a strong conversion rate.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, take ownership of their work, be target driven and conduct tasks with dedication and care. In particular a high level of attention to detail and organisation of time and priorities is a must.
Role and Responsibilities
Preparing and implementing price changes in our clients Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. and Content Management System (CMS).
Setting up promotions including special offers, sales and code offers.
Ensuring swift and high-quality product-to-web process along with product content and organisation. This includes working up info panels such as dimensions images for products as well as written content and specifications.
Product sort ordering/merchandising
Category maintenance and ensuring our category landing pages and structure are best practice for User Experience (UX) and navigation.
Skills, knowledge and experience
Utilisation of Microsoft Excel for manipulating, cross referencing and populating data.
Experience (2 years plus) in a retail environment handling product data and working in back office systems that integrate with each other.
You have experience using a website Content Management System (CMS).
Ability to prioritise, 'spin many plates' at once and have an acute attention to detail
Basic salary c£23-£24k, free on-site parking, career progression, full-time, Permanent 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
