Come and join us as a results driven Showroom Sales Assistant on a flexible hours basis to grow and deliver sales as part of a hugely successful branch team.
The role:
As a Showroom Sales Assistant, you will support the Showroom Sales Manager with the day-to-day running of the showroom and assist in sales business development. You will visit customers in their homes to take measurements and work to design their ideal bathroom. You will also attend and have the opportunity to run networking events. Building rapport quickly and creating trusted relationships will be key to delivering on our promises to customers and exceeding expectations. You will promote and embrace our inclusive team environment.
You will be contracted to a set number of minimum hours a week but have the opportunity to work up to 37.5 hours a week to cover peak trading hours, holidays, and meet business needs. Hours and shifts will be agreed with you 4 weeks in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create and maintain a loyal customer base through a proactive approach, building rapport with customers and generating new and repeat business.
* Deliver an exceptionally high level of service.
* Collaborate with in-branch colleagues to build relationships and cross-sell to current trade customers.
* Ensure the bathroom showroom is known locally and use creative ways to promote the service.
* Strive to make your showroom the best to anticipate and exceed customer needs.
* Previous sales experience in a similar environment is preferable, but the right positive attitude is more important!
You:
Sales experience is not essential, but this is a results-based role with a strong focus on targeted sales. Your ability to influence and your persuasive nature will aid your success; with energy and enthusiasm, you’ll be a confident go-getter passionate about delivering high-level customer service. You will use intensive training and a natural desire to achieve and drive sales through strong customer relationships.
