Prospectus is excited to be supporting DanceEast in their search for a Development Manager.
DanceEast is one of the UK's leading dance organisations and the home of dance in the East of England. The impact of their work is felt locally, regionally, and nationally. Their outreach activities focus on people facing disadvantage as well as those traditionally under-represented in arts engagement; they give more people the chance to experience and create the highest quality dance, for the greatest benefit of all.
This is a full-time (option to work four days), permanent role, paying a salary of £32,000 to £35,000 per annum. The postholder will work in a hybrid model from the DanceEast office in Ipswich.
A critical role within the organisation, the Development Manager, with support from the Head of Communications and Development, will lead a portfolio of fundraising activity across mid and major-level individual giving, trusts & foundations, statutory and lottery funding, growing voluntary income.
This is an ideal role for an experienced individual with demonstrable experience in at least one of the following: individual giving (all levels); legacies; trusts, foundations and statutory; or sponsorship. The successful applicant will be energised and motivated to raise money for DanceEast and keen to be at the heart of driving change for such an important cause.
