The Payroll & Pension Administrator will support the Payroll & Pension Co-Ordinator and the HR Team with a high-quality delivery of Payroll and Pension Administration which will includes setting up new employees; administering monthly pay claims; calculating and administering monthly payments and deductions, and processing leavers. You will have experience of working in payroll within a professional environment, be familiar with standard payroll principles and calculations, have solid knowledge of HMRC tax/RTI notification processes and a good understanding of pension schemes and auto enrolment. Have excellent attention to detail and numerical skills, and the ability to meet robust deadlines, often under pressure. There is a requirement to work closely with Managers across the College to ensure accurate and timely completion of the payroll administration so therefore excellent communication skills are also essential. Please note this role can be considered as an apprenticeship opportunity.
