An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Specialist to join our Diagnostic Oncology division. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will manage and develop existing accounts, with the potential to explore new markets. This role involves a blend of clinical and sales responsibilities, including observing and advising on correct use of the BD product. You will handle a portfolio that includes both capital and consumable products.
This field position involves up to 80% traveling with overnight stays depending on your location in the UK and is a great opportunity to progress towards a managerial position in the long term.

Main responsibilities will include:
1. Sell innovative, life-changing Oncology products to help improve health for patients.
2. Develop and implement strategies and tactics to ensure market penetration, achieve sales goals, establish new accounts in the assigned territory.
3. Meet and conduct consultative sales calls with e.g. Radiologists, Surgeons, Nurses, and Procurement.
4. Educate customers on products and accurate clinical usage by delivering presentations and demonstrations.
5. Routinely attend procedures/cases in hospital procedure rooms and advise on product usage and gain insight into specific needs of physicians' and staff.
6. Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, and ability to speak clinically to physicians at a high level.
7. Build and maintain solid relationships with customers.
8. Participate in local and international congresses and meetings as needed.
About you:
1. Hold a degree with at least two years of sales experience, preferably in Radiology, Breast, and Urology, or be keen to transition from another sector into medical device sales.
2. Successful track record in sales, including the implementation of new product lines.
3. Be capable of driving new business while maintaining strong customer relations.
4. Demonstrate effective time management and administrative skills.
5. Exhibit excellent listening and analytical abilities.
6. Have experience in selling to hospital departments (preferred).
7. Be skilled in tender preparation and presentations.
