We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of financial management and control, including accounting, records, financial operations, and financial management information in accordance with our policies and procedures, DFE (Department for Education) and ESFA (Educational and Skills Funding Agency) Financial Regulations. You will work with the Headteacher, governors and external finance support in all aspects of planning, forecasting, and budgeting. The primary responsibilities and requirements for this role are as those listed on the Job Description but include: advising the Headteacher/Governors/SLT on general financial policy and planning co-ordination of annual budget of income and expenditure for the school monitoring the annual budget and presenting management reports to the Headteacher/Governors/SLT attending relevant meetings. You will: have experience in financial management and budgeting have a working knowledge of appropriate school's financial policies and procedures have a can do and flexible attitude be professional and reliable be willing to work collaboratively with others and work autonomously have the ability to complete complex returns, write complex letters and reports be understanding and compliant of the procedures and legislation relating to confidentiality.
