About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Assistant to be based at our Head Office in Hemel Hempstead. This is a 12 month maternity cover working 14 hours per week (Thursday and Friday each week). You will be working in within our Asset Management team, playing a crucial role in Procurement and assisting in managing Hightown’s growing number of properties. The primary function of the role will be assisting the Procurement and Asset Management Team in obtaining cost effective procurement of supplies and services, managing contractor performance and monitoring of servicing programmes and service levels and helping to produce/update Policies and Procedures in the department as required. You will assist the Procurement Officer in ensuring that all gas/electricity bills Hightown are responsible for are settled and that all queries are resolved in a timely manner. The role requires excellent communication with the relevant utility providers and debt collection agencies to resolve any queries swiftly and effectively. Also updating the relevant in-house software with this information.
