Job Description
Our Business Services team is seeking an experience Business Services Manager, in our Newark office. This role will be instrumental in providing expert advice and managing a full portfolio to the highest standard using knowledge and skills to add measurable value to the client experience, as well as managing and developing team members, including conducting performance reviews and the setting of clear objectives.
Your responsibilities
Here's a bit more on what you can expect to be doing day-to-day:
* Interacting with various clients on a daily basis at several levels, to identify the more complex problems faced by clients and provide viable solutions for them. You will act as the primary contact for clients, taking overall responsibility for client relationship management.
* Recognition as a technical expert, both internally and externally, within your respective field(s), utilising opportunities to share knowledge and expertise to increase overall performance.
* Working closely with other directors/managers of the team for individual client assignments, ensuring that they are well informed and receive regular updates on progress, along with identifying and escalating any issues as necessary.
* Building a network of potential new clients in order to identify new business opportunities (e.g., active participation within funnels or similar marketing initiatives).
* Developing relationships with new and existing clients, to identify opportunities to sell all the company’s services, pitch for new business opportunities and create tender documents.
About you
We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:
* Accounting industry, or Practice experience is mandatory
* People management
* Effective management of client lock up - budgets/billing/debtors
* Time management of work in progress
* Business development
* People management experience
* Advisory skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* You are based in the east midlands, can commute to our Newark office
