Job Description
3. Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
4. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
5. Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions
6. Providing financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decisions.
7. Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with financial regulations.
8. Liaising with internal and external auditors.
9. Identifying opportunities for cost savings and financial efficiency.
10. Participating in special projects and financial studies as required.
11. Providing financial training and support to non-financial staff.
12. Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
13. A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
14. Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
15. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
16. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
17. Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
18. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
What's on Offer
19. A competitive salary in the range of £33,000 - £35,000 per annum FTE (£22,000 - £24,000 take home).
