Adcote Matrix International School (AMIS) is an established international school, located in Seremban, Malaysia. The school is approximately 45 minutes away from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. We offer a broad and innovative curriculum from Early Years and Primary Cambridge International Curriculum and IPC, Secondary Cambridge curriculum, IGCSE and A Level based on a combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
Due to rapid expansion in the school, we are seeking the following new position for August 2025 or earlier where possible.
As Head of English, you will play a crucial role in inspiring students through a dynamic and engaging curriculum aligned with Cambridge KS3, IGCSE. We seek a committed leader who brings innovative teaching strategies and a genuine passion for English, fostering a vibrant culture of creativity and literacy throughout the school.
In this position, you will be responsible for the continuous review and development of the English curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and inspiring for all learners. You will encourage students to explore different perspectives and voices. Most of our students are not first English language speakers and as an important focus will empower students to articulate their ideas confidently and creatively.
An essential aspect of this role involves developing and sharing best practices in teaching and learning with fellow colleagues. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you will create an environment where both teachers and students thrive.
Your leadership will also extend to promoting a love for reading and writing within the school community.

Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in the subject area applied with post graduate teaching qualification. A Masters degree is desirable.
* Leadership positions require relevant and recent experience
