Human Resources Business Partner Are you a skilled HR Business Partner with end to end capabilities in an incredibly fast paced manufacturing site? MacGregor Black are partnering with an FMCG business, on the search for a HR Business Partner. This is a permanent role based in Hereford. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent to support the company’s growth. Develop strategies for talent retention, employee engagement, and succession planning. Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Serve as the main point of contact for employee queries and issues, promoting open communication and a supportive workplace culture. Implement and oversee performance management systems, including setting KPIs, conducting regular reviews, and providing coaching and feedback to employees. Ensure alignment with business goals and drive continuous improvement. Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and support career development. Identify training needs across departments and collaborate with management to implement effective training solutions. Ensure the company’s HR policies and practices are in full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Regularly update and communicate policies, and provide guidance on employment law and best practices. Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs. Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive salary structures and manage employee benefits packages, including health insurance, pensions, and other perks. Work closely with the Health & Safety team to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Promote safety awareness, conduct regular audits, and implement health and safety policies in accordance with industry standards. Develop and track key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs. Provide regular reports to senior management on HR activities, workforce trends, and areas for improvement. What are we looking for? Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment. A deep understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and industry-specific regulations. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others. Experience in managing a team and working collaboratively across departments. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Able to handle complex employee relations issues and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong presentation and training delivery skills are a plus. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and industry trends. Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is highly desirable. High level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to build strong relationships and navigate sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
