Production Operative
Salary: £ per hour (£26,529 per year) plus excellent company benefits
Shift details: working Monday - Friday from 08:00am until 17:00pm, with an element of flexibility required during peak season
40 Hours per week
Bicester, Oxfordshire
As a Production Operativein our Bicester depot, you’ll play an important part ensuring our freshly prepared products are delivered on time to meet our customer demands.
Your role is to ensure that products manufactured at Fresh Kitchen are handled and managed to the agreed production schedule and that they comply with specific customer requirement with key focus on product quality, legality and safety and overall presentation of product to the customer. In addition, key areas of responsibility include receiving goods in, maintaining good stock rotation/management and working towards targets and deadlines.
To join us as a Production Operative, you’ll be comfortable working in a temperature controlled (chilled) environment – don’t worry we’ll give uniform to keep you warm! You will be handling and preparing various food products including meat and fish and spend most of the day on your feet. Experience in a food production environment or knowledge of basic food safety would be an advantage, but your ability to learn and be part of the team is more important.
